Morning: West Lake Highlights

Su Causeway (苏堤): Stroll along this 3-km path built by poet SuDongpo during the Northern Song Dynasty. Admire weeping willows, lotus blooms, and "Six Bridges in Misty Willows" vistas.

Broken Bridge (断桥): Discover its romantic link to the White Snake legend. Learn why it appears "broken" in winter snow—sunlit side melts faster, creating a visual rift.

Afternoon: Longjing Tea Immersion

Dragon Well Village (龙井村): Tour terraced tea fields, pick fresh leaves (with farmer permission), and savor freshly brewed Longjing tea. Note its chestnut-and-grass aroma, best brewed at 90°C.

Full-Day Tour

Wuzhen (乌镇): Wander stone bridges and Ming-era buildings. Visit indigo-dye workshops and wooden looms.

When to meet: 9:30 AM, September 4

Where to meet: South Lobby, 1st Floor, Dragon Hotel

 

A bus will take you to Wuzhen. The journey from Hangzhou to Wuzhen takes about 2 hours. Lunch will be provided. At around 3:00 PM, the bus will return you to Dragon Hotel, with an estimated arrival before 5:00 PM.

There will be two optional sightseeing activities on Friday. The cost is around 50 euros, to be paid at the online registration.
